There is nothing more magical than documenting moments during your pregnancy. Being a mom of three- I can attest that each pregnancy is different in its unique way. I look back and am so grateful that I chose to do a maternity photoshoot during my pregnancies- each gallery has its own sentimental memories that I’ll cherish. I cannot recommend a maternity photoshoot enough! Although during pregnancy, you may feel like it’ll ever end- one day, you will reminisce on the days when you were carrying your sweet babe.
Making your Hawaii Maternity Photoshoot Authentic
Because each pregnancy is unique for each individual- your maternity shoot should be too. Let yourself get creative with your maternity photoshoot! Molly and Sam’s maternity photos are some of my favorites to date. Most of the gallery was shot on my 35mm and 120mm film (medium format film), and the photos couldn’t have been any more stunning. Capturing this expecting couple in such an intimate setting with raw, true-to-life images is why I do what I do. Living in Hawaii has it’s advantages, especially with the scenery being so diversely beautiful. The beach and mountains provide a beautiful contrast that will elevate your Oahu maternity shoot and provide a variety of beautiful images to look back on. Not only can you get artistic with your location, but make sure to dress in clothes you feel most like yourself and most comfortable in! Flowy dresses are expecting mothers go-to as if allows room for you and your bump to breathe, especially during warmer days. It’s recently become a popular trend to go on a “babymoon” before your due date. A lot of couples are choosing to book their maternity photoshoot on their trip- especially first time parents wanting to document their last moments as a family of two. If you are an expecting couple contemplating on a maternity photoshoot- this is your sign to do it!
