Dillingham Ranch Destination Wedding, North Shore, Hawaii

With the winter season in full swing, more and more couples are choosing to ditch a traditional wedding and opt for an adventurous destination wedding instead. Scout and Whit have a love like none other; it’s young and live, giddy and full of excitement. Getting to know and work with this couple was an adventure- they were a fresh reminder of what it’s like to be blissfully in love. Their story started in their college days a Texas schoolgirl met an East Coast city boy cadet. “He was the best-looking thing since Elvis ‘, Scout stated the moment she laid eyes on Whit. A duo that perfectly harmonizes with each other, Whit is described as calm and adaptive, while Scout is proud to be the spontaneous one. Together, the two have embarked on many road trips and explored various states, crossing places off their bucket list of “must-go” locations, so a destination wedding seemed quite fitting.

Combining your destination wedding + honeymoon

Scout and Whit wanted to be intentional and authentic with their destination wedding and decided that combining their wedding and honeymoon was a good fit. With only their immediate family present, they could enjoy their once-in-a-lifetime trip with both families. Combining your destination wedding and honeymoon is a unique and efficient way to save money, have fun, and create lasting memories of your special day. Choose a location you and your spouse would love to get married at and honeymoon. This cuts costs from various hotel expenses, plane tickets, travel accommodations, etc. Not only does combining your wedding and honeymoon reduce financial stress, but it also reduces travel and planning stress as well. You only need to plan activities for you and your future spouse in one area instead of two and can spend less time worrying about catching different flights and more time creating timeless memories. How magical would it be to honeymoon in the same place you were married? I highly recommend this option for couples wanting a smaller, more intimate destination wedding with minimal stress possible.
