Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden Wedding | Becca & Joe

bride and groom getting married in garden

Becca & Joe’s Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden wedding was such a dream!!

These two flew in from LA and had a few days before their wedding day to relax and explore Oahu. And become bonafide poke connoisseurs🤤🤤  They intentionally chose to elope (before COVID was even a thing!) because they really valued the experience of an intimate, stress-free, and fun day over a big, fancy wedding.

And let me tell you, they got just that – plus some seriously killer views!! They picked out Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden for their wedding because they wanted to tie the knot somewhere stunning, but didn’t want to have to hike for hours. The garden is perfect for just that – you can just park there and you’re at a stunning spot!!

The ceremony was so beautiful and heartfelt, and we were definitely all tearing up during the vow exchange. There were no guests; just us and Joe’s friend who officiated for them.

After the ceremony, Becca & Joe chartered a private boat out a couple miles out to sea to the Kaneohe bay sandbar (how cool?!). They enjoyed the space completely empty, with just the two of them and some turtles! While on the sandbar, they listened to music and even cut their cake on a cute table that they’d had set up. It was suuuper stormy, but the rain held off for us – take a look for yourself at the photos down below!

To end the night, the sky showed off for them big time, and the full moon even came out to celebrate with us at the end 🌝✨✨✨

This day with Becca & Joe was the perfect example of doing your wedding day YOUR way and making it a blast. I encourage you to dream real big with your elopement like these two did!!
